The internal points that are used to stick into wood, break far too easily. You can use your own hands to break them.

The Good:
Cool idea. Nice design.

The Bad:
These install by screwing a "nail" into the back of the numbers, then drilling pilot holes and taping the numbers into place. Unfortunately, as others have stated, the "nails" snap when hammering. Every number I tried to install, even with the lightest tap, resulted in one or more nails breaking. Extremely frustrating.

I like the look of these. They were easy to spray paint in the desired color. The problem is with the screws used to attach them to the house--they appear to be made of very soft plastic/metal that crumbles apart when you try to use it! All the screws broke off in the holes of all three numbers I purchased. I'll have to get creative to find another way to attach them to my house...If you buy these purchase a separate set of screws from a hardware store.

These are real metal, great finish. They have screw-on pegs on the back, which requires you to drill holes and put mollies in. There's no drilling pattern provided. This makes installation a bit hard. Sticking these on with 2 sides tape is a bit of a challenge as well, since there's a channel under the numbers.

I got 4 sets of these numbers for my mailbox because one of the mailmen got mad at me for not having any numbers up (after 5 years) lol.
I knew for a long time I had to get some but they are so expensive so I went looking on deerhardware and as always, lifesaver. I love deerhardware because I can find anything and this was certainly not an exception. Now everyone is happy and the numbers are proudly shown on my mailbox.
