The hooks are excellent! The screws are poor. Using the first four, two broke. Fortunately had similar size handy to use.

I do NOT want this review open to the public. I am so disappointed that these quality hooks cannot be applied to painted surfaces...like my walls). But this is my own fault....I did not read the fine print! If there is a way to use these on a painted surface PLEASE let me know. Thank you.

The screws that are included either didn't have the hex fully cut into them (so you couldn't get a screwdriver bit into the head) or they were SO soft that they stripped getting them half-way in. I was drilling them into 1/2" plywood so there's no reason for them to strip that immediately, save for the metal being exceptionally cheap and weak.

Love these hooks!!! They are a great size, beautiful finish and very sturdy. I'm not sure what the price is now, but when I got them they were just $10 for a set of 12. I honestly thought I was going to have to send them back, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I used all of them to make a coat rack by attaching them to a piece of wood in my entry way. They are holding up very well and look beautiful. I plan on getting more, possibly in other finishes and using them around my house for various projects.
