Exactly what I wanted. Using for hanging kids coats and backpacks/bags. Would also work well for hats. Probably too small for larger coats or thicker scarves.

I didn't rate on durability because I just got them -- so how would I know?! The hooks seem like they are sturdy and should do the job, but unfortunately, my bathroom door won't close with the hook on it. I bought the hooks because I'm having 6 houseguests soon and need a way to hang extra towels. I tried the hook on the shower door, but it's too thick for this hook. It's not the hook's fault. I would recommend it to other people with a normal size shower door and/or normal clearance on the top of their door.
