Screws for installation are cheap pot metal. I'm replacing them with stainless steel threaded rod. One broke off while tightening it.. had to get a tool to remove the stub. be very careful if you are just going to install them as delivered.

This is a decent product that made our house a beacon for anyone trying to find a house number day or night. Works as advertised, easy assembly and should last. Even got a second set of numbers out of package to put on my mailbox.

The mounting studs are the cheapest material possible and break off easily. After I got the first number installed successfully I have been through 3 of the second number. I thought I was being too rough but I tried several times to gently, evenly tap the number in and the studs buckled and broke. The third time, the stud sheared off just trying to screw it into the number. The threads didn't seem to match. Too bad because they are nice looking and the numbers themselves seem to be of good quality.
